Project Name: Knauf Gips Taraz Gypsum Board and Dry Building Mixtures Plant

Project Description:Knauf Gips Taraz LLP, a subsidiary of the Germany-based Knauf Group, has signed an agreement with the government of the Zhambyl region to construct a plant specializing in the production of gypsum wallboard and dry building mixtures. The project aims to enhance the local building materials industry by providing high-quality products for the domestic market.

Current Status:As of June 2023, the project was in the design and planning phase, with the development of design and estimate documentation for the necessary infrastructure underway. The plant is scheduled for completion by 2026.
