Project Description: The project, led by KEGOC JSC, aims to integrate the isolated Western Power Zone with Kazakhstan's Unified Power System (UPS). This initiative involves constructing a 500 kV overhead transmission line (604 km) between Ulke and Karabatan, building a new 500 kV substation in Karabatan, and expanding existing switchyards. The project will enhance energy security, improve electricity reliability, and support the integration of renewable energy sources into the national grid.

End Date: Estimated by 2028
