Project Name: Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) Production Plant in Kostanay Region

Project Description:The project entails the construction of a state-of-the-art facility designed to produce 2 million tonnes of hot briquetted iron (HBI) annually. HBI is a premium form of direct reduced iron that offers advantages in transportation and storage due to its high density and reduced risk of oxidation.

Current Status:As of December 2024, the project is in the development phase, with plans to commence construction in 2026 and achieve full operational capacity by 2028.
