Project Description:The project entails building a modern oil extraction plant within the Qyzyljar Special Economic Zone in Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan Region. The facility is designed to process 924,000 tonnes of oilseeds annually, including sunflower, flaxseed, and rapeseed, producing high-quality vegetable oils and related by-products. The entire oil production is planned for export to China, Uzbekistan, Iran, Turkey, and EU countries such as Poland and Belgium. The company aims to sell approximately 50% of the meal and husk volume in the markets of Uzbekistan and EU countries like France and Italy, while the remaining products will be sold on the domestic market. This initiative aims to enhance the region's agricultural processing capabilities, boost export potential, and stimulate the local economy by creating over 250 new jobs.
Current Status:Pre-design and survey work are currently underway. The plant is scheduled to be operational by 2024.
