Project Description:AsiaChem LLP is constructing a plant dedicated to the production of ammonium phosphate (ammophos), a vital mineral fertilizer, in the Taraz Industrial Zone, Talas subzone, near the city of Karatau in the Zhambyl Region of Kazakhstan. The facility is designed to produce 150,000 tonnes of ammophos annually upon reaching full capacity by 2027. The company plans to export 80% of its output to countries including Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Iran, and EU nations, while the remaining 20% will serve the domestic market.
Current Status:As of the latest available information, the project is progressing through its initial stages. The construction and commissioning of the plant are planned for the period between 2021 and 2025. Upon reaching full design capacity in 2027, the plant aims to achieve its targeted annual production volume.
