AGRIQA to Implement an Agro-industrial Cluster Project in Kazakhstan

On August 8 of this year, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" Madiyar Sultanbek held a meeting with representatives of the domestic company AGRIQA. During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of implementing the project of the agro-industrial export cluster Shardara in the Turkestan region.

The project involves creating 8000 hectares of drip and sprinkler irrigation fields and building a glass industrial greenhouse, an alfalfa granulation plant, a fruit drying and freezing plant, and a plant for the production of pasta and fruit purees. AGRIQA will process agricultural raw materials and produce a wide range of products for local consumers and large multinational food industry companies.

During the meeting, AGRIQA CEO Serzhan Stybaev presented the products of the Frutta project (berry and fruit products) previously implemented in Kazakhstan and test products of the planned fruit drying and freezing plant.
