Project Description:The Qarmet Plant Modernization project focuses on upgrading and expanding the Qarmet steel plant in Temirtau, Kazakhstan (formerly known as ArcelorMittal Temirtau). The initiative includes improving production efficiency, enhancing environmental compliance, and modernizing coke production facilities. The project aims to strengthen Kazakhstan’s position as a regional leader in the steel industry.

Current Status:Ongoing; key upgrades are being implemented, and completion is expected by 2028.
